The paper will bring together the concepts learned throughout the course to analyze a potential project in your department. This paper, which will be presented to leadership, must cover each of these topics (evidence based research - how remote monitoring will improve nursing care outcomes, legal and regulatory requirements, privacy of client information, nursing workflow efficiency, and compliance continuity).These topics will inform leadership about the process needed to implement the project.
Background: Case Scenario
Your supervisor has learned that you have completed a course in healthcare informatics and calls you into her office. She tells you the leadership organization is concerned that it does not have a program for the remote monitoring of patients with heart failure, and she wants you to lead a team to analyze needs and to make recommendations for creating it. She informs you that the purpose of the Technology Analysis will be to guide management in considering how program could be implemented throughout the organization.
In preparing the plan, she would like you to address the following areas:
• Evidenced-based research (how remote monitoring will improve nursing care outcomes)
• Legal and regulatory compliance
• Privacy of patient information
• Nursing workflow efficiency
• Compliance continuity.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
