Problem:
Select one disease and discuss the incidence of your chosen disease over the last 10 years. Be sure to address the components of the epidemiologic triangle - who is susceptible and why, if it occurs in the environment and if there is an external agent. In addition, your essay should include what epidemiologic surveillance is being done to track the incidence or prevalence of your chosen disease and address the social determinants and/or health disparities that have impacted your disease of choice and how public health programs or interventions have contributed to the incidence of your disease or what programs and interventions you would implement to combat your selected disease, including reasons that may contribute (or hinder) the possible eradication of this disease.
