1) Discuss the implications of revelations about art not developing linearly and early Paleolithic artists not being as primitive as we previously thought. Use the Chauvet Cave as an example.
2) After reading the first two chapters, what do you feel is the most important factor for the development of a civilization from the Prehistoric periods? In supporting your response, please directly show how the Prehistoric period was lacking in this factor, and also show how the first Civilizations have this factor which you choose.
3) What do you feel is the best concept that shows how Mesopotamian religion was the dominant aspect of their civilization? In answering this question, please choose one specific example from literature, politics, art, or architecture to use as an example of this concept.
