Paper Homework: Organizational Behavior- Part 3
Overview:
The goal of your Paper is to describe how you would implement a major program of organizational change as if you were a senior leader of the company, using one of the following approaches:
i. Total Quality Management Initiative (TQM)
ii. Six Sigma
iii. Continual Quality Improvement (CQI)
iv. Organizational Learning
v. Kaizen
vi. Systems Thinking
Additionally, the Paper's purpose is to draw upon as much of the course material as possible, but specifically from Units 5 -7.
In this homework, you will create an outline for your paper.
Instructions:
Your outline will contain headings and notes on the following points:
1) What is meant by the organizational change approach you selcted (i.e.: TQM, Six Sigma, etc.)?
2) What specific goals do you hope to achieve with this program? For example, improve Return on Investment, Market Share, reduction in errors, etc.
3) How will these goals be measured?
4) How will the program be implemented?
5) How will the company be structured to achieve these results?
6) How will "buy-in" by the employees be gained?
7) What is the role of leadership/management in the implementation of your organizational change approach?
8) Discuss the implications for organizational culture.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
