In saying this, the corrections system must be able to carry out punishment and rehabilitation sentencing of those involved in the court system. Just as any other industry, the corrections system must be able to establish strategic operations and goals in order to accomplish their mission statement. Discuss the five sentencing goals of corrections as well as their characteristics and contributions. Additionally provide opinion to which sentencing goal is the most effective.
