Write an essay in which you, first, explain the causes of the depression, and then, explain how the Hoover and Roosevelt Administrations attempted to revive and stabilize the economy, and at the same time, to alleviate the distress which the depression had created.
Make sure to discuss the degree to which Keynesian policies were implemented (during the Roosevelt Administration) and how well these policies worked.
