The Great Sphinx of Gizeh has the head of a human and the body of a lion. What could it symbolize? What story does it have to tell?
Wow! Here is some fascinating news - I was surfing the net and came across the information below regarding the Sphinx at Gizeh. Did you also know (per the website) that another name for the Great Sphinx is ‘Transmutation" or ‘becoming'?

There can be many factors on whether 3-days is enough for a mourning process. I personally do not believe there should be a timeframe placed on a person getting over the death of a loved one. However , in today's society if you are employed then the policies of your employer can dictate the amount of time a person can be off for mourning. (In other words a timeframe is placed on when a person should return to the workplace, school...) Because one goes back to a routine does not mean that the mourning process is over. I feel the mourning process is also based on an individual basis and the relationship.
