For this discussion post you will draw on the Pryzbylski and Lobanov-Rostovsky (2020) reading on juvenile sex offenders. Discuss (and be specific), the differences in a juvenile's ability to regulate their emotions, plan ahead and control their behavior from that of adults (i.e. neuroscience and developmental criminology) as laid out by the authors. For the second part, discuss the changes in treatment strategies of juvenile sex offenders over time (pre and post 2000s) and for the final or third part of this discussion question, consider the above in relation to the passage of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006 and the use of "sex offender management strategies" discussed in the article and provide your opinion on whether a juvenile sex offender should be placed on the sex offender registry. If so, why? If not, why?
