After navigating the Zero to Three website, Early Experiences Matter: Behavior & Development, select an age range from the following list:
- Birth to 6 months
- 6 months to 1 year
- 2 years
- 3 years
Describe two milestones in that age group for each area of development: social, cognitive, and physical. Then describe a developmental delay that might be evident at this age, and the behaviors that might indicate that. Lastly, discuss the steps that classroom teachers should take if they suspect a delay (remember that teachers cannot diagnose disabilities).
