Supporting a Principal's First Years on the Job
The story of The Little Red Hen is one with which we are all familiar. Sometimes, it seems easier to become the "Little Red Hen" when we transition into leadership. As classroom teachers we have been accustomed to doing it "by myself." Now you are in a much larger arena where it will be impossible for you to do it all "by myself." As you once again review this story, how do you propose changes that will make it your own story when you become a school principal?
