Discussion: President Trump's Congressional Address February 28, 2017.
President Trump's address to Congress on February 28, 2017 was about 1 hour in length. In this speech, President Trump addressed many issues facing America. He talked about immigration, violence in our cities, education, the decline of our military, international trade, jobs, taxes, etc.
In your first assignment for this class, you wrote a paper on several economic concepts. Among these were EFFICIENCY VS. EQUALITY and THE PURPOSE OF TAXES AND OTHER GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION.
Your Discussion assignment is to listen to President Trump's speech. Discuss some of the topics he addressed utilizing an economic perspective. That is, consider the Efficiency vs. Equality and The Purpose of Taxes and Other Government Intervention as you post your thoughts.
