Use the case study that is attatched "Project Management Case." It is strongly recommended that you read this case study before attempting the questions.
QUESTION 1:
Project communication is one of the most important factors in project management. A project manager will spend most of his/her time on communications.
Discuss who the project stakeholders on the District 4 Move project are.
Discuss various types of communications you will need to use on the project, what stakeholder(s) each type would address, and the frequency of each communication type. You may choose to use a table for this information.
QUESTION 2:
Many projects today operate within some sort of a matrix organization. Discuss the differences between a strong and a weak matrix organization.
Discuss the pros and cons of a matrix organization for project management. As a project manager, what types of things would you need to do well in order for your project to work within a matrix organization?
QUESTION 3:
Resource constraints can be a huge burden on a project, sometimes causing project issues and/or project failures. Discuss some of the impacts of resource constrained projects and what the project manager can do to understand if there is a potential problem. What can a company and/or a project manager do to help alleviate this problem?
QUESTION 4:
Reflect on the different tasks and roles you learned about in this course. Identify at least two skills you would need to be a project manager and discuss what you can do to develop those skills.
Lastly, identify and discuss at least one other career you think you would be interested in related to project management.
