Problem 1: Explain the most important points you learned from this class about searching, applying, and interviewing for a job. This is considered formal learning.

Problem 2: Summarize what you learned informally about the steps that lead up to and include interviewing for a job.  In your summary include the following if applicable:

Problem 3: Have you ever been rejected for a job and later found out there was something wrong or off putting about what you said in your interview or application?  What did that experience teach you?

Problem 4: Have you ever been hired for a position and later learned there was something specific in your interview or application that impressed the hiring manager and led them to select you?  What did that experience teach you?

Problem 5: Have you ever heard a supervisor or hiring manager at your place of employment talking about interviewees or applicants for a position?  What have you heard them say about other people's interviews or applications?  What have those experiences taught you?

Problem 6: Have friends or family ever given you advice about what jobs you would be good for or where to look for jobs to apply for?  What did their ideas and advice teach you?

Problem 7: Compare and contrast the lessons you learned in this class with those you learned informally about the processes of searching, applying, and interviewing for jobs. 

Problem 8: Detail how formal and informal learning will impact what you say and how you behave when applying and interviewing for a job.
