Problem
Brief: Using Lake Nyos, focus on and produce a critical case study based on the following criteria:
1) Event: Present an account of the disaster event (consider the site/situation, magnitude, environmental, human, and economic costs)
2) Risks: Discuss the relevant risks associated with the hazard and disaster (consider issues associated with risk assessment, perceptions, decisions, communication...)
3) Defences: Discuss relevant protection, mitigation, and/or adaptation measures associated with the hazard and disaster.
