This penultimate week we examine earnings management and the manner in which manipulation of it may be unethical.
o Discuss property the importance of earnings management, and the role that ethics plays in its reporting.
o What policies and internal procedures would you consider to be the minimum necessary to instill confidence in earnings reports?
o How and why would you supplement those?
