Select an allied health (nonphysician) profession; this can be your own profession or another profession that interests you. Some examples of allied health professions include physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, nursing, physician assisting, radiography, ultrasonography, nuclear medicine, medical laboratory, medical assisting, phlebotomy, and many others. Discuss a situation in which an individual in this profession might be held liable for negligence. Also, discuss ways to proactively avoid or prevent negligence in the profession that you selected.
When completing written assignments, the following is necessary:
1. Meet the required page length (5 PAGES)
2. Respond to all parts of the assignment
3. Meet the APA guidelines which includes a TITLE and REFERENCE page (these are NOT included in the page length).
4. Furthermore, other items that are NOT included in the page length are tables, graphs, outlines, abstracts and no long quotes.
5. Tables, graphs, designs, etc. should be noted in an Appendix at the end of the paper
6. Similarity is to be 15% or less from your Turnitin report.
7. Refrain from long quotes that increase your similarity, which then causes lack of originality.
