Answer the following 2 sets of questions. Be sure to address all questions in each set. In terms of length, you should probably have at least three to four paragraphs for each set of questions. This is a general rule of thumb. (I won't be counting sentences). Devote as much space as you feel necessary to adequately address the question. And if ever in doubt, err on the side of more rather than less.
i. Discuss President Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal. What were the key programs and their impact? How have historians evaluated the New Deal?
ii. What were the origins of the Vietnam War? How did the U.S. become involved? What were the turning points in the conflict? How did it end?
