Problem
A. Students will identify and reflect on the importance of the interdisciplinary role of the nurse and others in the health care team.
B. Students will discuss potential side effects for dental patients on platelet aggregation inhibitors such as Aspirin, or Plavix dental procedures
C. Students will discuss the importance of pre-medication for dental procedures including the following indication with antibiotics.
D. Students will explain knowledge of artificial heart valves, history of heart valve repair, history of endocarditis, serious congenital heart conditions, repair of an unrepaired cyanotic heart condition, and cardiac transplant.
