Consider and discuss attachment issues (what makes for healthy attachment and/or risk factors) from Your own cultural perspective. What is the ideal way of parenting, including specific methods/ideas? What types of factors impact what is considered ideal and how do those factors impact the actual parenting techniques used? (Some factors to consider for comparison purposes might include: religious, geographic region, SES, racial/ethnic, family structure, country of origin, age (generation) of parent, health of parent or baby, income level or other similarly influential factor) AND
Consider and discuss the same attachment issues from the perspective of a culture other than your own and compare and contrast how things are done differently in your chosen specific areas related to attachment parenting across the two different cultures. Discuss possible factors impacting what is seen as "ideal" child-rearing in the other culture that would not apply or work well in your own culture and why.
Ensure that your written demeanor toward practices of other people or another culture remain respectful, even if you do not understand or agree with the reasoning behind some of those practices. Back up your opinion with reasons.
