a. What are the explanatory and response variables, or is this distinction not possible?
b. Briefly describe how the study was done. For instance, was it a case-control study, a prospective or retrospective study?
c. Discuss possible confounding variables. For instance, were any possible confounding variables included in the study and news report? Can you think of possible confounding variables that were not mentioned?
d. Pick one of the "Difficulties and Disasters" in Section 6.4 and discuss how it applies to the study.
