After viewing the video for this session (the joint interview of Professor Eugene Paoline and Assistant Chief James Nolette), thoroughly discuss the following:
What did you consider to be the most important positive points made by Professor Paoline (the Scholar) and by Chief Nolette (the practitioner) about police culture or subculture? Elaborate.
Repeat the above regarding what you consider to be the most important negative points raised about police culture or subculture by each man.
Finally, based upon your Session 1 reading from Dreitcer (2017), briefly describe how Christian love, compassion, and empathy might apply to the larger topic of police culture. Use Scripture to support your response.
