Assignment Instructions:
I have written two (2) statements below related to the use of peacemaking strategies in anti-drug/anti-gang campaigns. Please choose one (1) statement, pick a side (should/should not) and write a response. I encourage you to utilize course materials and (properly cited!) outside research in addition to your own opinions in your response.
Illicit drug use should/should not be decriminalized in Washington state (similar to Oregon's Measure 110).
Former gang members should/should not be the primary responders to gang incidents (similar to what was depicted in The Interrupters), rather than law enforcement.
