By completing a project risk management plan, you will be able to understand methods of identifying risks, performing risk analyses, determining risk responses, and monitoring risks.
For this homework, you will develop components of a risk management plan based on a project of your choosing.
Some examples of projects are the following:
a. Replacing computers in an office building
b. Improving a claims process
c. Developing a marketing strategy
d. Building a bridge
e. Taking inventory in a warehouse
f. Creating a new software program for a bank
You can get ideas for projects based on your experiences. For example, if you have a marketing background, the development of a marketing strategy may be a good choice. If you have experience in software, the development of software for a company could be an option.
You will use this template to complete Individual Projects.
You will complete the Project Outline sections of the template, as follows:
a. Briefly describe your project and the project deliverables.
b. Discuss the overall risk management strategy for your project.
c. Describe the high levels of risk categories you believe risk events may occur in, such as technological, vendor, customer, employees, government, weather, and so on.
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
