1. Why is knowledge of attention important in the human factors field? Discuss how you will apply these theories during your work, citing examples. Discuss and include feedback to colleagues' postings.
2. Besides driving and using the phone, discuss other applications of selection or capacity theories.
In a paper of 1,250-1,500 words, compare and contrast the three models of attention (Broadbent, Triesman, and Deutsch & Deutsch). Describe how these can be applied to a current human factors issue.
