What is the impact to the nursing profession and to the public related to the projected nursing shortage? Discuss at least one way that the nursing profession is working toward a resolution of this problem.
It would be helpful to read the electronic resource re: Nursing Shortage Fact Sheet to answer this question as well as the Report Recommendations from the Institute of Medicine (IOM). Perhaps you have some creative other ideas or have observed organizational attempts to solve this problem. Rural areas have notoriously been underserved.
