Problem: Discuss one set of relations in the international system (either in the present or past) that seems to follow the logic of a security dilemma. Explain carefully how this example fits with the insights of the security dilemma concept. Do you foresee any possibility that the states or actors involved will succeed in escaping their security dilemma any time soon? What kind of processes would have to take shape for this to occur?
