Assignment Problem: As Christians, we are taught not to judge, and so we try not to. However, in many instances, we place people in boxes. Some may even do so consciously because they feel it is "safer" than judging. However, it is essentially the same thing. Thinking or saying things like, "these middle schoolers are going to be rowdy and unruly" or "that teacher has been here for years so surely she loves the children" is putting people and often situations into categories without knowing the details and extenuating circumstances that may exist. Doing so fails to give the benefit of the doubt.
