Ethical theories try to explain morals and principles that should be applied in organizations. There are two types of organizations, the non-profit organizations such as the world vision and the ones for profit organizations such as the Pepsi Company. Utilitarian theory considers an action to be right or wrong after considering the impacts it has on a larger population. An organization like Pepsi can ensure they produce products that are safe for consumers for their action to be termed as good according to this theory. The same theory applies to the world vision, in its mission of helping the communities it is ethical to offer goods and services that have positive results to the community. The Pepsi Company produces beverages and snacks and it should therefore produce healthy products to increase their value and expand their markets
The Justice and rights theories are another important theory, they deals with how fair the employees and customers should treated and the rights they are entitled to. Justice enhances and improves co-operation in an organization. World vision should treat its employees fairly to ensure that they provide quality services to the community. The same treatment that will be given to them will be reflected in the way they treat the community. Pepsi needs co-operation to come up with high quality brands and increased productivity and this can only happen if they are. The basing on the ethical theories would manufacture their products which are of high quality and safe for consumption
Resources should be utilized in production of products and services that are highly demanded by the consumers. This will expand the markets for the profit organization. It will also enhance performance and improve efficiency for non-profit organization (Wiltermuth, 2013)

When corporates act unethically and cause negative consequences to the community in with they are supposed to exercise. The punishments involved are being fined different amounts of money depending on the depth of harm. Fines are sums of money issued by caught of law or any authorized group as a penalty for acting unethically and causing harm. The members of the corporations responsible for the unethical behavior might be imprisoned for a duration illustrated by the law. Life imprisonment and death penalties can also be charged to those whose negligence leads to very destructive consequences like many deaths. The corporate can be shut down by government or a legal entity if they feel that its unethical behavior is risky to the state citizens. This shut down marks the end of operation of a corporation (Singapakdi, 1999)
The punishments corporations undergo are important to put them in check. It is therefore important that corporations abide to the codes of morality just like the individual people in the society. This will ensure that corporations exercise care and inflict fear of violating important codes of ethics. This will promote high morals level not only in the society but also in organizations at large. The laws should apply to all, and no organization should have the freedom of acting unethically without facing the law. This will promote justice, utilitarism and personal rights of all individuals in the society.
