Professional accountants aspiring to become leaders need to move beyond carrying out only core accounting responsibilities. To effectively operate as a key member of a leadership and management team, they need a broader perspective and a wider set of capabilities and skills.
Write: In your initial post, discuss moving beyond core accounting duties and developing the right mixture of skills, experiences, and attitudes to succeed in accounting leadership. Make sure your post is more than 200 words and that you include a brief quote or paraphrase the reading material where appropriate (see the Writing Center's Quoting, Paraphrasing, & Summarizing guide for assistance with in-text citations).
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
