Problem
When doing a case conceptualization for a diagnosis and treatment class (in clinical mental health counseling), how do you apply developmental theories: "Identify and discuss lifespan developmental changes/stressors that may be impacting the presenting problems through the lens of at least two lifespan models (e.g., Kohlberg's Moral Development Theory, Erikson's Psychosocial Stages of Development, Piaget's Theory of Cognitive Development, etc.) " I am having a really hard time understanding how to practically apply these; I can't figure out what questions I need to be asking myself to determine what theory is the best one.
