Describe and discuss in detail their functioning in terms of the primary developmental tasks for their age period. For example, if you focus on an adolescent, you could focus on how they are doing in terms of identify development, establishing Independence, and/or beginning to explore intimacy. If you choose an emerging adult or a young adult you could focus on how they are doing in the areas of establishing a life purpose and exploring and establishing intimacy.
