Discuss in detail how each news item is related to the course material. Only a summary of the news item or merely linking the news item to a chapter will be considered insufficient. Blog posts, opinion pieces, YouTube videos etc. will not be considered as valid news items if those do not discuss a recent news event, even if those may otherwise be related to the course content. For example, articles or videos describing the history of a particular company or explaining a theoretical concept or tool will not be considered as valid news items. A recent news item is one published in 2013.
