Homework: Intercultural Activity
Create 5 to 7 minutes audio presentation with a visual component and include a reference list. Your homework should meet the following criteria:
I. Describe your engagement with an intercultural activity (or activities) with a culture other than your own.
i. Use language and delivery in a way that demonstrates respect for the dignity, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, and individuality of people dissimilar from yourself.
II. Connect the cross-cultural experience to course material and other resources.
i. Cite sources within your presentation.
ii. Complete and submit a reference list gathered through research.
III. Provide personal reflection about the experience.
IV. Discuss the potential impact cultural differences have on communication.
V. Analyze how nonverbal communication affects intercultural communication.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
