Discuss-human intelligence is not just single general score

Problem: Respond in a short response Imani Bond She, Her, Hers NEW

In psychological testing, reliability and validity are crucial, and ensuring an assessment is culturally fair is a huge part of that. Howard Gardner proposed his Theory of Multiple Intelligences to show that human intelligence is not just a single general score, but rather a mix of eight distinct areas including verbal, logical, visual, musical, bodily kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic capacities. When I completed the quiz, my highest scores were Musical at 32 and Bodily Kinesthetic at 32, followed by Interpersonal at 28, Naturalistic at 28, Intrapersonal at 28, Visual at 26, Logical at 20, and Verbal at 18. These results definitely line up with how I view myself because I have always learned best through hands on movement, rhythm, and personal connections rather than sitting through lecture heavy classes or solving logic puzzles. However, looking at Section 8.4.2 of our textbook about how language shapes perception, along with pages 18 through 21 of the APA Guidelines, I do not think this quiz is fully culturally fair. The test uses regional phrasing and specific cultural references like bushwalking, timetables, or certain sports that might not mean the same thing to everyone, which introduces linguistic bias.
