A newly setup college has two (2) months to start its first intake to enrol new students. A newly purchased Student Information System has functionalities that are not in line with the university's newly hired Registration team. There are functions in two (2) main modules, Registration and Billing need to be enhanced and customized and it must be fully tested and ready two (2) weeks before registration day. A proper application training for the newly hired Registration team need to be conducted a week before registration day.
As a project manager, you are assigned with one (1) System Analyst and two (2) programmers to solve business problems using information technology to ensure the registration day will run smoothly.
a. Discuss how you handle this situation. State tool(s) that you are going to use, if any.
b. Create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to identify and categorize the project scope of this small project.
