Choose one specific population (ie. women, Indigenous youth, and street involved youth) and describe the historical and more current societal dynamics that in your view has made them more susceptible or resilient to developing addictive behavior. Include current demographic information, what we know about prevalence in this population, access/barriers and follow through with treatment etc. Discuss how we can use what you have learned about this group to inform prevention and health promotion activities to improve their efficacy.
