A. Select a home environment (your home, a family member's home, or a friend's home)
B. Thoroughly examine the kitchen, bathroom, living areas, hall way, laundry area, main entrance and your bedrooms to detect potential dangers or safety threats. Consider electrical, mechanical, thermal, chemical and microbiological hazards. (can be typed in point from room to room).
C. Discuss how these threats may affect or pose a danger to toddlers (ages 1 to 3), individuals with a physical challenged (any age) or senior adults (over 65 years of age).
D. Describe the measures that have taken place or should have taken place to reduce or eliminate these hazards.
