Each student is expected to locate at least three (3) articles on "How U.S. Monetary Policy Affects Stock Prices" and discuss how our central bank affects not only U.S. economic activity but asset prices, including equity markets.
Articles must be obtained from academic journals, periodicals or credible online sources (see list provided of business publications as examples of good sources to use for this research.
Wikipedia is NOT acceptable!) from 2008 - today.
Journal articles can also be obtained from the electronic databases provided by the OC Library. Google Scholar is always an excellent starting point.
The student will prepare a 10-page topic analysis consisting of an introduction to the subject, article summaries, and a synthesis section pulling all of the ideas together.
