Discuss how apoptosis plays a role in any one of the following and why this would be important:
-Morphological development of a human in the womb (hint: tail-like structures...we start out with them...are we born with them?...web's between our fingers as well...?)
-Body's natural response against development of cancer (if something is wrong with a cell, what happens 9,999,999 times out of 10,000,000)
-Body's immune response (how do we get the pathogen's/bad guy cells...)
-The mechanism of mitochondrial susceptibility in cells (think cell respiration and it's importance to the cell)
Obviously, you will have to read other resources (text-based, internet-based, etc) to find specifics and information on any of these, but do not utilize quotes, full sentences, or paraphrased material at all in writing up your paper....The ideas written in your term paper should be completely your interprtetation of what you read/learned.
