Assignment:
Visual Analysis Paper: Students will be required to visit to the Asian Ad Museum, and to write a visual analysis of -4 pages of a single work of art from the collection.
Short Reflection Essays: Students are required to write five short reflections of 1-3 double-spaced pages each that respond to specific questions introduced in the text at the back of each chapter. You may choose your own questions and topics from those listed in the syllabus schedule below. The requirements are:
1) two must be completed from the first half of the class and two for the second half of the class;
2) you may answer only one question per class topic (in other words, one response per any one class day);
3) responses for any given question will not be accepted after the due dates listed in the calendar below (be sure to answer one of the questions that is fisted on the syllabus - not all questions are allowed);
4) short essays must be submitted as word documents or pdfs to the relevant drop box on Canvas, which will close at the start of the relevant class. Further instructions and grading info will be discussed in
