For this discussion, in 250 - 300 words, discuss how the Affordable Care Act (ACA) changed the staffing needs of health care organizations. Give specific attention to hospitals and primary care services. Also include human resources concepts related to fulfilling those staffing needs.
The health care industry is constantly changing. Recently, the ACA created new opportunities in health care. Although the ACA is still being debated and contested, many believe that it has forever changed the shape of the health care system. One important component in the ACA is how it opened doors for new opportunities. Many health care organizations found themselves needing more staff to meet the needs of their community due to an increase in the number of citizens covered under health insurance.
