Discuss the characteristics of a good expert witness.
i. Testifying as an expert witness can be a difficult task. Discuss other investigative roles/activities that someone could participate in to help them prepare for eventually becoming an expert witness.
ii. Discuss how a fraud examination is different from an audit.
iii. What is predication as it relates to a fraud examination? Why is the issue of predication revisited throughout a fraud examination?
iv. Discuss how the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution applies to a fraud investigation.
