Problem: Can you help me with disparities from this part of my paper: West Virginia has rural areas with multiple factors hindering the development of their communities. Rural areas often face limited access to healthcare and issues with the quality of care. Appalachian communities are in steep mountain valleys, surrounded by narrow and twisting roads that are heavily used by trucks and machinery (Dong et al., 2024). Due to the rugged rural areas, the Appalachian Region has lower supplies of health care professionals per 100,000 population when compared with the nation. These include primary care physicians, mental health providers, specialty physicians, and dentists. (Wasserman, 2017). Nearly 14.3% of the region's residents live below the poverty line, a rate higher than the national average. Income and employment issues limit access to health insurance, and access to affordable housing. Lastly, limits to quality education add to the significant problems already at hand. All in all, the Appalachians have numerous social determinants of health. Rural areas, poverty, and education issues create non-medical factors that influence their communities' health and well-being. Need Assignment Help?
