Discuss fire spreads by raising the temperature of new fuel so it ignites, and thermal radiation has nothing to do with a firefighter's ability to escape from or survive a fire if trapped in a compartment 10' x 10' x 8'. Why? This may not be what you believe; however, you are to support why this concept is not important in firefighting.
