You have been asked to join a task force to investigate the possibility of adopting a new electronic health record for the healthcare organization in which you are employed. In your discussion response, please address each of the following:
a) Discuss factors (in terms of cost and benefit) that the task force should consider in making this decision. Be sure to include one recent journal article to support your statements.
b) Provide a reflection on at least one area which requires change related to the use of the electronic health record in your organization or institution. If you do not work in an organization or institution which utilizes an electronic health record, identify how using the HER would pose as a benefit.
