Create a two-page paper in which you:

1. Discuss whether or not you believe that Facebook has a legal or ethical duty to rescue a crime victim.

A. The duty to rescue is an important rule of law. Define and discuss this concept. Then provide an analysis of whether or not Facebook has a legal duty to rescue. Provide support from your textbook, the videos and quality references. Consider whether or not the reference would be acceptable to present to a Judge in court prior to depending on it for your assignment.

B. Discuss whether Facebook has an ethical duty to rescue victims. Everyone thinks that they do. However, for purposes of a legal analysis, you must provide support for your reasoning. Consider the numerous ethical theories that could support your reasoning. Are there any ethical concepts that you have learned about that could support your decision.

It is important for you to break down each question and provide legal and/or ethical support for all of your reasonings. A good analysis of a legal question considers the many parts of the issue including the strengths and weaknesses of the argument.

2. Suggest and elaborate on three (3) ways that social media platforms can be more proactive and thorough with their review of the types of content that appear on their sites.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

Use at least two (2) quality resources

• Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA or school-specific format.

• Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length.
