Identify one historical event in the counseling field that you feel has been the most impactful for counselors. Provide a clear summary of the important event and individuals involved, how this event and individuals involved (if applicable) impacted the counseling profession, why you feel that this event is important to the counseling profession and you as a counselor-in-training, and ethical standards you feel are important and relevant to the historical event that you chose.
