I don't have a job right now, but I've worked in hospitals in the past. In the office, I was inspired by a variety of factors. For me, financial incentives like bonuses would have been a fantastic motivator. But that was not usual. Management, did you utilize hourly incentives to fill in for planned shifts while we weren't there? I frequently accepted more shifts because of this. On occasion, management will encourage workers with food rewards. After the institution passed a governmental inspection, celebrations like monthly picnics were generally held. In my opinion, the HR benefits for healthcare were about average. My last several jobs did not offer benefits to me because I often worked on a per-request basis. When I was employed full-time, I did have health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and life insurance. I live with a chronic ailment that can be quite expensive without insurance, so keeping a job to preserve medical benefits would have been incredibly motivating for me if I did not have my husband's health insurance to rely on. At one of the places I worked, there was an employee appreciation scheme.

To do this, patients or patients' families had to acknowledge the outstanding job that an employee had performed. The title of "employee of the month" would thereafter frequently be given to such worker. As a result, your photo would be displayed in the break room, you would have access to a parking spot closer to the building for the next month, and you would also get a voucher for the vending machine. These all fall under the category of extrinsic motivating variables since they are based on rewards or benefits that an employees would obtain for putting up good work. All of the employers I've worked for treated their staff members extremely fairly. As everyone from the same job title receives the same remuneration when appropriate, they all applied distributive justice. Due to the standardization of the decision-making processes, they all applied procedural fairness. My prior employers, in my opinion, did a great job applying interactional justice since I felt like I was treated properly. However, it's possible that not everyone had this experience. Goal Setting theory is not something I have used in my professional life yet, but when I go back to work, I hope to use it. I think this is a fantastic internal motivating approach since it allows me to create clear objectives for myself. I use this in my personal life and anticipate utilizing it in the future in my work life.
