A problem of personal interest in my local community, currently is the drug and alcohol epidemic. I would want to focus on seeking out additional funding for better drug enforcement and rehabilitation services and programs, acquisition of bettering the corrections/parole tools such as out-patient programs, modernized technologies for supervision, software for trackable live data that is sharable across multiple agencies within the CJA in effort to alleviate recidivism, attribute to offender successful completion and reentry to the community and provide an enhanced safety to the community.
