Problem
Scenario: A 280-bed acute care hospital is staffed with several clinical staff (i.e., nurses, lab technicians, radiologic technologists, doctors, etc.). The hospital has run out of supplies, creating unsafe working conditions for the employees and the patients. The administration is trying to take action and find alternatives but the wait seems to be overwhelming, creating stressful situations. Administrators seem to have their hands tied in some ways with shipment delays, product unavailability, and inefficient processes. The nurses decide to call a strike claiming unsafe, hazardous conditions and demand immediate resolutions for their concerns.
